This one might win for Italian butter with the longest name.
Latteria Soresina does a great job of making butters in the Po river valley in northern Italy. The area is an Alpine drainage basin, with all the wonderful pasture and river ways that go with it. Ideal for pasturing animals, Latteria Soresina takes advantage of its local terrain and produces some very good Italian butter.
For the record, 'panna' means cream! (Panna Cotta means 'cooked cream')
The company also takes sustainability and environmentally responsible farming practices seriously and takes the effort to showcase their efforts in the region.
Use your powers for good, people!

Butter Evaluation
In which we discuss Latteria Soresina's Latte Panna butter.
The colour is slightly more creamy and yellow than other Italian butters which is a nice variation. It's quite glossy and firm at room temperature and a medium gloss on the inside.
But ooh, this brand does do an excellent job of churning their butters to get a great texture! Like its counterpart, it has a wonderfully satisfying texture, akin to soft fudge or stiff frosting and it is a DELIGHT to spread thickly on bread.
The aroma has a slight packaging infringement (like the other) but this one is slightly milkier and thus it really doesn't impact the experience much - especially since the texture is so rich!
As with the other, the mouthfeel of this one is substantial and indulgent. It's a rich, clean fat with a slight dairy kick on the palate. It clears the mouth well with lingering milk on the palate.
A truly indulgent and enjoyable experience!
